computer-engineering

Danish Puri builds across bits, models, and machines.

Computer Engineering student at New York University

I work across machine-learning pipelines, autonomous navigation, and digital hardware—turning engineering ideas into systems that can be tested in the real world.

NYU EG-1004 RAD Project

Hands-free human-following robot

Sep–Dec 2024

Problem

Create a mobile robot that can follow a user and carry items without handheld control.

Contribution

Designed and built the robot, programmed Arduino and Raspberry Pi controllers, integrated ultrasonic sensing, and modeled the chassis in CAD.

Outcome

Delivered the working system as an NYU EG-1004 RAD course project.

About

Working at the boundary between software and hardware.

I’m a Computer Engineering student at New York University, expected to graduate in May 2027.

My experience spans perception pipelines, autonomous flight and navigation, processor design, and digital-systems instruction. Alongside engineering, I pursue mathematical modeling and writing.

I value careful implementation, evidence-backed results, and systems that hold up outside a demo.
